Progression through the grades of membership is shown below, however, direct entry into a grade is possible, provided that the applicant has the necessary qualifications and experience.
The higher corporate grade for those who have the necessary qualifications and senior managerial experience. This grade carries the right to the designatory letters FIQ.
The standard grade of membership for those with an approved qualification and basic line management or specialist experience in the industry. Designatory letter MIQ.
This category is for those persons haveing experience of the industry but without formal qualifications and those working towards a qualification or gaining experience.
A subsidised grade for students who are working for qualifications to enable them to proceed to a higher level. Upgrading is required as soon as the specified qualifications and / or experience has been attained.
